In honour of the Danish economist    Jens Warming 100 years after he published his work 'On Rent of Fishing Grounds', the Institute of Food and Resource Economics recently organised an international conference for invited fisheries economists.

Warming's article was published in Danish, so it took decades before it got its deserved attention internationally and was found to be a groundbreaking work.
