Research school AECON
Research school AECON is managed by the Institute of Food and Resource Economics, and its purpose is to bring PhD students and advisors within applied economics together to achieve synergy between teaching and research.
AECON focuses on the use of econometric analyses, numerical economic modelling, experimental economy, organizational theory and other empirical and analytical methods.
These methods can be used within a wide range of areas like energy and resource economics, food and agricultural economics, production and development economics, international trade policy and health economics.
The aim of AECON is to improve the quality, relevance, interdisciplinary focus and ethical standards for the PhD programmes within applied economy.
AECON is supported financially by the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation.
