The Study Committee is responsible for developing the academic regulations for all degree programmes of the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. This encompasses the Bachelor education in Agricultural Economics, the Master education in Agricultural Economics and the Master of Science programme in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics.

 

The Study Board of Natural Sciences (NSN) at the faculty is responsible for managing the academic regulations of the three degree programmes. Upon recommendation from FOI's Director General, the dean appoints a Study Leader. Currently, Assistant Professor Jens-Martin Bramsen is the appointed member of the Study Board of Natural Sciences.

 

 

The Teaching Committee advises the Director General as to the quality, cohesion and development of FOI's teaching. The Teaching Committee:

  • is responsible for the regular evaluation of teaching, giving the Director General and, on request, the relevant Study Board and Study Leaders an evaluation hereof.
  • advises as a follow-up to teaching evaluation, proposing adjustments of a pedagogic or didactic nature to the individual teacher or to the Institute in general.
  • advises as a follow-up to an evaluation of a study programme within the framework of the Institute
  • advises regarding the courses offered within a particular academic year
  • contributes in determining the strategy of the Institute and in the development of teaching disciplines, the cooperation with other institutes and external contributors regarding teaching
